Greetings, Perry Family, and welcome to your monthly reminder! (no, not *that* monthly reminder! Sheesh! As if anyone needs reminding for that.)
 
Your friendly neighborhood mods have put this message together to help you remember our list guidelines (although we *know* you would never forget! ;-D ) We don't mean to nag (OK, so maybe some of us do), but we want to make sure our happy family stays . . . well . . . happy! The guidelines are simple:
 
1. Respect the feelings of your family members. You may not always agree with or like your fellow list members, but other people will. Please be courteous and keep disagreements civil and personal problems off the list.
 
2. Name calling, personal attacks, and flames are not allowed and will result in disciplinary action. (Tactfully worded differences of opinion are not considered flames)
 
3. Threats against other list members are absolutely not tolerated and will result in immediate banning from the list.
 
4. Forwarding of Urban Legends, Virus Hoaxes or other spam is not allowed. If you think you have received a virus warning, you MUST investigate it before forwarding it. Links to investigate Urban Legends and Virus Hoaxes can be found on STH at http://steveperry.150m.com/faq.html . This is an extremely busy list, and while we will allow forwarded jokes, we wish to keep down the proliferation of false Virus warnings and Urban Legends as they unnecessarially cause distress.
 
5. Attachments are not allowed on the list. Please share files via private e-mail or through eGroup's "Files" feature (see http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/groups/files for help). In order to save space, files will be removed after a period of 3-6 months, depending on available space. Files is easily accessed by clicking on the list name at My Yahoo! Groups.
 
6. List archives can now be accessed through Yahoo! Groups! Once again, click on the list name in My Yahoo! Groups to access!
 
7. If you're going on vacation, please set your account to " No Mail/Web Only ". You won't be unsubbed, but while you're gone you won't run the risk of bouncing mails and being unsubbed. Plus, remember, archives are easily accessed!
 
8. Don't forget to join our weekly chat! Sundays 8 PM ET. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/StevePerry/chat to join in!
 
9. Any other questions you might have about Yahoo! Groups features can probably be answered by clicking on the "Help" tab at Yahoo! Groups.
